Renamed the company Shoei Rika Kagaku Kogyosho.

Built new office in Chuo-ku, Osaka (current headquarters site) and renamed the company Shoei Yakuhin Shokai.

Incorporated as Shoei Yakuhin Co., Ltd. with 10 mn JPY in capital.

Made Shinnihon Yuka Co., Ltd. a subsidiary and renamed it Tetsuno Yuka Co., Ltd. Started producing fatty acids, fatty acid esters, surfactants and other chemicals.

Opened a sales office in Chuo-ku, Tokyo.

Opened a sales office in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture.
April 1965
Got into the civil engineering/construction supply business by selling materials.
October 1967
Developed “Sho-Resin” underwater glue.
May 1969
Established Sho-Resin Co., Ltd. (75% voting rights) to expand sales of “Sho-Resin”.

Reorganized the Tokyo Sales Office into a branch office.

Got into the daily essentials business with household detergents.

Opened a branch office in Singapore to increase exports to Southeast Asia.

Established 昭栄祥(上海)貿易有限公司 (100% voting rights) to strengthen sales in China.

Acquired ISO14001 certification for the Osaka Headquarters, Tokyo Branch Office and Nagoya Sales Office.

Transferred all shares held in Sho-Resin Co. Ltd. in order to streamline group management.

Absorbed Tetsuno Yuka Co., Ltd. in order to manage the group more efficiently. (Treated as the Osaka Plant.)

Established Shoei-TDC (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (49% voting rights) as a venture company for increasing sales in Southeast Asia.

Absorbed Shoei Co., Ltd. in order to manage the group more efficiently.
